This short movie demonstrates dragging components
out of the palette onto a template and editing component parameters using the
property sheet.
I just got drag and drop component editing
working on Mac OS X, thanks to Veronika Irvine, via the Eclipse news groups.
However it's not as good as drag and drop on Windows and Linux. The range
highlighting I implemented to show the range of the template affected by the
drop is not working, but it's good enough for me to record a demonstration of
component editing via drag and drop on Mac OS
X.
This movie (2.3MB) shows how I added
a Foreach component to a template and edited the source and index parameters in
the Property Sheet:
It's a little choppy but it gets
the point across.
