Tapestry Palette - Eclipse 3.1 Support Now AvailableI finally managed to get the Tapestry Palette
plugin to build for Eclipse 3.1. You can install from within Eclipse via the NEW
update site at: http://tapestrypalette.sf.net/update
This version has been tested on Windows XP
(Eclipse 3.1.1) and Mac OS X Tiger (Eclipse
3.1)
Tapestry Palette extends the Spindle plugin to provide: 1. A tree-view of available Tapestry components 2. An inspector to browse component descriptions 3. Access to Tapestry component reference documentation 4. Drag and drop of Tapestry components onto template files with support for implicit component declarations. 5. A property sheet to edit component bindings. 6. Browsing and download of remote component libraries for immediate use from within Eclipse. Getting this build out of the door has taken some time. I gave up trying to get Eclipse to package the plugin, I wrote my own ant build files to do the job. It all seems to work. Email me if there are any problems.
